Narrative Description:
A handmade miniature accordion book that was handset, letterpress printed and illustrated by Carol S. Cunningham (proprietor of Sunflower Press - a private press in California). From a limited edition of 20 copies, numbered and signed by the artist. Two poems ("A Landscape" and "A Former Life"} from Charles Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du Mal as translated by F.P. Sturm. One poem is printed and illustrated on each side. Printed using 8 pt. Freehand typeface, and illustrated with color copies of 12 original watercolors. Hand-bound in decorative paper over boards, with letter-pressed title-plate pasted on cover and matching paper band. Unpaginated (24 pp: ii, 22); no DJ as issued. Pictures available upon request.
