Sell We offer items for sale on the Internet, and occasionally through book fairs and catalogues. We also keep a stock of books for browsing at the Whately Antiquarian Book Center. Additionally, to address the needs of the infirm, elderly, or for those deaccessioning, we make site visits for either buying or selling. Wherever possible we try to enrich the shopping experience and maximize convenience to our customers. If you have any suggestions for improvement we’d be pleased to hear about them. Want Lists You may be looking for a specific book in a particular edition, or collecting in an unusual category. We are often able to locate specific books for our regular customers on a courtesy basis, and we keep our eyes open for books in their areas of interest as part of our acquisition process. Let us know what you are looking for, and we’ll endeavor to find it. Auctions We participate in a variety of book auctions, including in New York City. Please contact us if you are interested in commissioning us to act as your agent to bid for items on your behalf. Buy We are always looking to purchase interesting single volumes, shelves of books, or entire collections that are in collectable condition, especially if they relate to our specialities or are published before 1900.
